Kharar, Date 26th March:- Today was a very historic, sacred and emotional day for Kharar city, when the idol installation and Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Lord Shri Ram Ji in Shri Ram Mandir Kharar was successfully completed with Vedic rituals and devotion. Since morning, a devotional atmosphere prevailed in the temple premises. With the chanting of Vedic mantras, all the rituals of Puja, Havan, Anga Nyas and Pran Pratishtha were completed and the event reached its climax with Purnahuti.
Thousands of devotees were present to witness this historic moment. On this occasion, His Excellency Shri Gulab Chand Kataria (Honorable Governor, Punjab) specially arrived as the chief guest. Along with this, MP from Anandpur Sahib Malvinder Singh Kang and Rajya Sabha member Satnam Singh Sandhu were also specially present and added to the splendor of the event.
Apart from this, officials of the district and sub-divisional administration, representatives of various political parties, members of social and religious organizations and dignitaries of the city attended in large numbers. As soon as the darshan started at 12:30 pm, a huge crowd of devotees gathered and the entire atmosphere resonated with the slogans of “Jai Shri Ram”.

In the evening, a grand Deepa Utsav with 51,000 lamps, mesmerizing fireworks and Nauka Vihar were organized, which filled the entire atmosphere with light and happiness. The scene was very mesmerizing and memorable. This event was not only a symbol of religious faith, but also proved to be a historic occasion to strengthen brotherhood, unity and cultural consciousness in the society.
