Shri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated with Great Devotion at Jain Sthanak Nawanshahr
Nawanshahr: Ratan Kumar Jain, General Secretary of the S.S. Jain Sabha, shared that the holy festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at the Jain Sthanak in Nawanshahr, under the guidance of Mahasadhvi Shri Swati Ji Maharaj, Shri Supragya Ji, Shri Sudipti Ji, and Shri Suvidhi Maharaj.
While speaking about the life of Lord Shri Krishna, Mahasadhvi Shri Swati Ji and Mahasadhvi Shri Supragya Ji Maharaj noted that Shri Krishna was the cousin of Lord Arishtanemi, the 22nd Tirthankara of Jainism. They narrated various events from Shri Krishna's life, highlighting their spiritual significance. Sadhvi Shri Sudipti Ji and Sadhvi Shri Suvidhi Ji sang hymns in praise of Shri Krishna.
Mahasadhvi Shri Swati Ji Maharaj blessed everyone by reciting the *Mangal Path*. With the assistance of Meenakshi Jain, Deepika Jain, and Geetu Jain—directors of the Shri Ramnik Bal Kala Mandal—children from the Jain community (Hirak, Chiranshi, Nivan, Avadh, Laghav, and Suhania) presented a beautiful dance performance based on the life of Lord Shri Krishna. The young children arrived dressed in lovely costumes representing Shri Krishna and Radha; seeing them filled everyone's hearts with joy!
Guruni Ji Maharaj and Munish Jain, the head of the Jain Sabha, honored all the children who participated in the performance by presenting them with gifts. Members of the S.S. Jain Sabha, Shri Mahavir Jain Yuvak Mandal, Shri Vardhman Jain Seva Sangh, Prayas Society, Jain Mahila Mandal, Shri Chandanbala Jain Yuvati Mandal, and Shri Ramnik Bal Kala Mandal were present on this occasion.
