Patiala:- In compliance with the request of the Manager, Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Ji, and with the approval of the Deputy Commissioner and President, District Red Cross Society, Patiala, the Medical First Aid Team of Bhai Ghanaiya St. John Ambulance Brigade, Patiala, along with an ambulance van, was sent to Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib during the Shaheedi Jor Mel—2025 under the leadership of Sri Harinder Singh Karir (Rashtrapati Awardee), Assistant Commissioner (St. John) and Core Commander (Bhai Ghanaiya Corps). 
This team set up a medical post day and night during the Jor Mel. Vaid Harmesh Singh provided free medicines from his side for the First Aid Post and conducted check-ups of patients. Shri K.K. Bansal, Shri Jaspal Singh Divisional Commander, and Shri Ranjit Singh Ambulance Officer were in-charge at the First Aid Post. The brigade members provided free medicines and bandages etc. to 4526 needy persons day and night at the First Aid Post. 
More than 2 injured persons were given initial aid and taken to Civil Hospital, Fatehgarh Sahib. In addition, 4 children who were separated from their parents were handed over to their parents. The Civil Surgeon, Fatehgarh Sahib inspected the First Aid Post and praised the brigade members. 
The Manager, Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Ji also appreciated the service rendered during Shaheedi Jor Mel—2025 by the members of St. John Ambulance Brigade, Patiala — Sri Harinder Singh Karir (In-charge), Vaid Harmesh Singh, Shri K.K. Bansal, Shri Jaspal Singh, Shri Ranjit Singh, Shri Rajesh Kumar, Balvir Singh, Shri Dharmpal, Shri Parmjeet Singh, Shri Gurkeerat Singh, Shri Samsher Singh, Shri Sanjeev Kumar Pharmacist, and Shri Balwinder Singh.
 Sri Pritpal Singh — Secretary informed that the members of Bhai Ghania Ambulance Brigade enthusiastically set up First Aid Posts at various events. They reach the spot in case of sudden accidents, dress the wounds of injured persons, and take them to the hospital as needed.
