Sewer Water Fills Lane Number Four Residents of Dashmesh Nagar Troubled

Patiala, September 13, 2026:- Today, due to heavy rainfall in Dashmesh Nagar, Tripuri, the sewer system of the main road near Tikoni Park overflowed. As a result, Block No. 1, Lane No. 4 was completely filled with dirty sewer sludge.
The dirty sewer sludge has spread throughout the lane, making it difficult for residents of houses numbered 36 to 56 in the lane to come out of their homes. Dirty sewer sludge can be seen throughout the lane.
On this occasion, Harjot Toor and Mrs. Inderjit Kaur, residents of houses No. 54 and 55, made several phone calls to the area MC, Mrs. Jatinder Kaur SK, at her contact number 9803985500 to speak with her, but she did not bother to answer her mobile phone. This incident has caused great concern among the residents of Lane Number Four because, due to the rainy season, any disease can spread in the area.
The residents of the area have appealed to the officials and Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Patiala to ensure that the lane and the sewer line near Gurkirpa Dairy on Main Siona Road are thoroughly cleaned at the earliest, so that sewer water does not enter people's homes in this manner in the future.
