Seventh meeting of the Governing Body of Sirtar on November 27

Chandigarh, November 26 - The seventh meeting of the Governing Body of the State Rehabilitation, Training and Research Institute (SIRTAR), established by the Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Department for the specially-abled in Rohtak, will be held tomorrow, November 27, at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh, which will be chaired by the Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare and Antondaya (Services) Shri Krishan Kumar Bedi.
Giving information about this, a spokesperson of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department said that a total of 7 agendas will be kept in this meeting in which in addition to discussions on the activities of the Sirtar Institute, issues such as implementation of service rules for the employees of the Institute, construction of smart classrooms for the differently-abled of the Institute, construction of educational blocks etc. will be discussed in detail.
He said that the Chairman of the Governing Body of the said institution is Shri Krishna Kumar Bedi, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare and Anthondeya (Services). Apart from this, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare and Anthondeya (Services) is the Vice Chairman, while the Director of the Department is the Member Secretary. He further said that apart from the said officers, 11 other members will also attend the meeting.
