Valsad:- Seven people were killed when a car rammed into a stationary truck in Gujarat's Valsad district's Kumbhaghat area on Friday afternoon. Police officer SL Vasava said that the incident took place at around 1 pm when a truck coming from behind hit the car while it was descending a hilly road.
Due to this collision, the car lost control and rammed into another truck parked in front. The accident was so terrible that five people in the car died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at a nearby health centre. Two women were also among the deceased. All these people were residents of Amba Jungle village in Karpara taluka and were heading towards Nana Ponda. Local MLA Jeetu Chaudhary said that the place where the accident took place has a history of road accidents.
