Gharaunda/Karnal, October 22: Haryana Assembly Speaker and Gharaunda MLA Harvinder Kalyan attended the Govardhan Puja Festival held at the All India Aghor Akhara Gaushala Badsat as the chief guest and extended his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the people.
On this occasion, Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan was honored by the organizers with a turban and a memento. On this occasion, Harvinder Kalyan fed fodder to the cows at the Gaushala and bowed with folded hands.
Addressing the gathering, Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan said that festivals give us a powerful message of goodness, a message of eradicating evil, and a message of mutual brotherhood and love.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country's reputation has been elevated globally and our culture has been strengthened. He said that all gods and goddesses reside in Mother Cow. Therefore, serving Mother Cow is the best service.
The government is also providing grants to cow shelters to promote and protect the cow population. A grant of Rs. 10 lakh has been provided for this cow shelter and full support will be provided in the future as well. As a public representative, I will remain in service. He said that many works have been done in the Gharaunda area in the last 10 years and the pace of development will be further accelerated in the coming days. Whereas earlier this area was neglected.
