Series of Lok Milni Public Interaction programs continues in Mohali constituency
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 14:- Under the 'Lok Milni' program, which is being conducted with the aim of establishing a direct dialogue with the people and taking the government's public welfare policies to every household under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, MLA Kulwant Singh met with the public in villages Bathlana, Gudana, and Dhelpur of the Mohali constituency yesterday evening.
A large number of villagers and prominent individuals of the area participated in the programs organized in the three villages.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh stated that under the 'Rangla Punjab' scheme, 8 lakh rupees will soon be released for wastewater drainage in the village, 5 lakh rupees for the Scheduled Caste Dharamshala, and 3 lakh rupees for street lights. He mentioned that financial assistance has also been provided to needy families for the construction of houses.
He said that a gym is being built in the village at a cost of 5 lakh rupees, the construction of a library is underway, and a playground is being prepared under the Chief Minister's Playground Scheme, so that youth can get proper facilities for sports and bring laurels to Punjab and the country in the field of sports.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is effectively implementing various schemes for the all-round development of the state, in addition to fulfilling the promises and guarantees made to the people, and long-pending development works are also being completed.
Providing information about the development works in village Bathlana, he mentioned that 3 lakh rupees will soon be released for the Scheduled Caste Dharamshala under the 'Rangla Punjab' scheme. Apart from this, a boundary wall is being built around the village pond at a cost of 2 lakh rupees. Financial assistance of 4 lakh rupees has also been given to two needy families of the village to convert their 'kacha' (mud) houses into 'pucca' (concrete) houses.
On this occasion, Aam Aadmi Party senior leader Kuldeep Singh Samana, former Sarpanch Avtar Singh Mauli, Rajinder Prasad Sharma, Harpal Singh Channa, Jaspal Singh Mataur, Village Gudana Sarpanch Gurjant Singh, Baba Bant Singh, Satnam Singh, Block President Rinku Gudala, Harpal Singh Sarpanch, Harnek Singh Numberdar, Balkar Singh Numberdar, Amarjit Singh (former Panch), Gurjit Singh Fauji, Master Amarjit Singh, Master Narinder Singh, Wazir Singh (former Sarpanch), and Sant Singh Kauda, along with other dignitaries, were present.
