Seminar on precautions during rainy season organized

Batala, July 24:- An awareness seminar on the topic "Precautions during rainy season" was organized by the School Management Committee and Prem Public School, Batala under the theme of citizen security.
Harbakhsh Singh, Post Warden, Civil Defense attended the seminar as the main resource person. School Chairman Taqdeer Singh, Principal Tajinder Singh and Incharge Harpreet Kaur were also present on the occasion.
During his address, Harbakhsh Singh said that it is very important to take special care of health during rainy season. He advised people to avoid open and unhygienic food available in the market. He said that due to standing water on the ground due to rain, various types of land animals, including poisonous snakes and other creatures, can take shelter in high places or houses.
He said that such creatures can also be found in school bags, shoes, corners, junk or other hiding places. Therefore, any item should be carefully checked before using it. He also said that if any untoward incident occurs due to any negligence, then immediate medical help should be sought.
At the end of the seminar, he shared information about the national emergency help number 112 and the SACHET app that provides advance warnings regarding natural disasters. He also motivated all the attendees to download this app in their mobile phones for citizen safety.
On this occasion, teachers Harpreet Kaur, Maninder Kaur, Gurmeet Kaur, Pawanpreet Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Kiranbir Kaur, Alisha, Simran Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Vandana, Kulwinder Kaur Kalsi, Sukhwinder Kaur, Inderpreet Kaur, Ranjit Kaur, Amarjit Kaur, Gurwinder Kaur, Bikramjit Singh, students of the school and their parents were present.
