SAS Nagar, October 13: The general body meeting of Sector 76 to 80 Enhancement Committee was held at Park No. 7 in Sector 79. Giving information about the meeting, Harjit Singh Bholu MC said that the leaders present in the meeting were Hardial Chand Badbar, Jarnail Singh, Comrade Major Singh, Bhagwant Singh Gill, Avtar Singh, Gurdev Singh Dayal, Joga Singh, Sohan Singh, Karanbir Singh Soni, Jai Dev Singh, MP Singh, Surinder Singh Kang, Kamal Saini, Harinder Singh Durali, Suresh Sharma, Sharanjit Singh, Bhag Singh. They said that the GMADA officials have repeatedly assured that Rs 839 per square meter is being reduced.
The speakers said that if GMADA does not issue a notification to reduce the price by Rs 839 before Diwali, then in the first week of November, the Deputy Commissioner's office will be surrounded and a demand letter will also be given. This struggle will continue until the enhancement is eliminated. On this occasion, residents of 76 to 80 expressed their anger by raising slogans against the government.
