Karnal, November 8: A team from the Special Detective Unit (CIA) 2 of the district police, headed by Head Constable Virendra Singh, arrested accused Gurnam alias Gama, son of Dalbir Singh, resident of village Ampur, Karnal, from Shiv Colony, Karnal.
The investigating officer informed that on November 5, 2025, a case was registered at Tarawari police station for possession of illegal arms and the accused Abhishek alias Pinchu, son of Tilak Ram, was arrested.
During a thorough interrogation by the investigating unit, it was revealed that the accused had purchased this illegal weapon from his other accomplice, Gurnam alias Gaba. He was arrested by the team, produced before the Honorable Court today, and sent to the district jail.
