SDM Inspects Grain Markets and Gas Agencies Reviews Arrangements
Ratia, April 1:- On Wednesday, SDM Surendra Singh conducted inspections of the Ratia grain market and procurement centers located in the villages of Kamana, Bara, Bhudharwas, and Brahmanwala, as well as the Ram Bharat Gas and Indane Gas agencies, to review the existing arrangements. While touring the procurement centers, he issued directives to Market Committee officials, emphasizing that every step of the crop procurement process—including the issuance of gate passes, weighing of produce, and payment—must be conducted with complete transparency and systematic efficiency.
He further directed that all basic amenities within the grain markets and procurement centers—such as sanitation, drinking water, electricity, restrooms, and seating arrangements—be maintained in proper working order to ensure that farmers do not face any inconvenience. During this visit, SDM Surendra Singh also inspected the Ram Bharat Gas and Indane Gas agencies to assess the gas supply system, instructing the concerned officials to ensure that gas is made available to consumers at the prescribed rates.
Additionally, he interacted with the public, urging them not to pay heed to rumors. He affirmed that there is no shortage of LPG gas and that there is no need for people to panic. He advised citizens to book their gas cylinders through the standard procedure whenever the need arises. He assured the public that the administration and the teams constituted for this purpose are continuously monitoring the gas supply system to ensure that all consumers receive their gas supplies in a timely manner.
