Scoutings Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp Successfully Completed at Da Ransan School Mansa

Mansa, September 2:- A four-day Tritiya Sopan Scout and Guide Testing Camp was successfully organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides Punjab at the local Da Ransan School, Mansa. In this camp organized as per the directions of State Organizing Commissioner Punjab Onkar Singh, District Organizing Commissioner Darshan Singh Bareta, Senior Scout Master Naveen Kumar and DOC Nirlep Kaur provided practical and verbal training to the volunteers on Scouting fundamentals, Patrol System, Pioneering, First Aid, Search Signs, BP Six, Tracking, Estimation, March Past etc., while teaching them in detail about mutual goodwill, cooperation with colleagues and dealing with difficult situations.
During the camp, the State Nodal Officer of OYMS Portal and Senior Scout Master Shri Des Raj Singh Kulriya gave practical information to the campers about the methods of tying different types of knots. He said that scouting training plays an important role in instilling courage, discipline, cooperation and decision-making ability in the youth.
Fifteen patrols of volunteers were formed and wide games and other activities were also conducted. Training was given on topics like Patrol in Council, Troop in Council, Court of Honor, Inspection Procedure, Importance of Log Book, Preparation of Camp Fire, BP Six, Service and Discipline through experimental activities.
Making the camp interesting, inter-patrol games and adventure training in the activities made it easy for the volunteers to learn to strengthen the spirit of teamwork, self-confidence and leadership. During the camp, the testing work of Tritiya Sopan continued simultaneously.
On the last day, the huts built by the campers were the center of special attraction. During the closing ceremony, six campers presented the camp report. Four campers played an important role of judgment.
On this occasion, Inderjit Singh Brar, who is playing a key role in the organization, thanked the guests and the organizers and appreciated the cooperation of lecturer Mohit Kumar. Finally, the chairman of the school, Dr. Avtar Singh Sidhu, praised the organization of a beneficial camp for the all-round development of the students and urged to continue organizing such camps in the future.
