Kharar:- The monthly meeting of Sahit Sath Kharar was held at the local Khalsa Senior Secondary School. The chief guest of this event was Sufi poet Jaspal Singh Desuvi (Canada). He was joined in the presidium by Sath President Jaswinder Singh Kainour, Surjit Suman and Pyara Singh Rahi.
In the Kavi Darbar dedicated to Guru Sahib, all the poets presented works related to Guru Ji, including Tarsem Singh Kalewal, Gurmeet Singh Singal, Rajwinder Singh Gaddu, Dalbir Singh Saroya, Pyara Singh Rahi, Hakam Singh Nattian, Kesar Singh Inspector, Balwinder Singh Dhillon, Mander Gill Sahibchandia, Sarabjit Singh, Sumitra Singh Dost, Jagtar Singh Jog, Malkit Singh Nagra, Amarjit Kaur Morinda, Master Malkit Singh, Dhyan Singh Kahlo, Khushi Ram Nimana, Gursharan Singh Kaka, Narinder Kaur Longia, Ravinder Lubana, Gurwinder Guri, Jaswinder Singh Kainour, Surjit Suman, Surinder Singh Rasoolpur, Neelam Narang, Ratan Babak Wala, Jasminder Singh Rao and Jitesh Tangri etc. participated.
Jaspal Singh Desuvi, in his presidential address, appealed to follow the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji that remove social evils and appreciated this initiative of the Sath. He announced that the World Punjabi Literary Forum, Mohali (Regd.), of which he is the Chairman, and the Sathik Sath Kharar would jointly organize a grand literary program in Kharar in February 2026. The Sath honored Jaspal Desuvi Ji with a token of honor.
The duties of the stage secretary were performed ably by Piara Singh Rahi. Apart from this, Jagtar Singh Kheri, Advocate Narinder Singh and Narinder Singh Longia, etc. were also present.
