Santoshgarh/Una, June 7 (Rajveer Chopra): Aiming to ensure road safety and smooth traffic flow, the Santoshgarh Police launched a special drive and took strict action against tipper drivers.
As part of the campaign, the police set up checkpoints at various locations to inspect vehicle documents and check for overloading and other traffic violations.
During the inspections, several vehicles found violating regulations were penalized, and necessary legal action was initiated. The police instructed drivers to adhere to traffic rules, drive within prescribed speed limits, and avoid overloading.
Police officials stated that such special drives would continue in the future, prioritizing road safety and public convenience. They appealed to drivers to carry all necessary documents and cooperate in maintaining a safe traffic environment by following the rules.
It is worth noting that complaints regarding the movement of tippers and rule violations in the area have surfaced previously; consequently, the police conduct such special drives periodically.
