Chandigarh - Former Union Minister and former Punjab BJP President, Shri Vijay Sampla, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the central government for bestowing the Padma Shri award upon Sant Niranjan Das Ji, the great saint of the Ravidassia community and head of Dera Ballan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Shri Sampla said that Sant Niranjan Das Ji has dedicated his entire life to spreading the teachings of Sant Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj in India and abroad, and to strengthening the values ??of social harmony, service, and humanity. Honoring him with the Padma Shri award is a matter of pride not only for the Ravidassia community but for the entire country.
He specially thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for this historic decision, stating that this honor is strong evidence of the national recognition given to the invaluable contributions made by the saints and great personalities of the community.
