Kharar, November 15: Nanaksain Foundation Sri Hazur Sahib–Nanded organized a ceremony in Nanded to honor 13 prominent personalities for their remarkable contributions in the fields of social service, spirituality, arts, literature, journalism, and sports.
On this occasion, Sant Baba Balwinder Singh Ji graced the event and praised the foundation’s initiatives to promote harmony between Punjab and Maharashtra. He appreciated the “Inter-State Brotherhood Goodwill Yatra,” calling it a laudable effort.
Foundation President Pandrinath Bokare announced that “Sant Namdev Literature Conference” and “Ghuman Maha Utsav” will be jointly organized by the Punjab Government and the foundation in Nanded in February 2026.
Nanded MP Prof. Ravindra Chavan, recently awarded the “Sant Namdev Lifetime Achievement Award 2025,” stated that the Ghuman Yatra strengthens spiritual, historical, and cultural ties with Maharashtra.
During the ceremony, 13 individuals were honored with the Sant Namdev Lifetime Achievement Award, including former Mayor Mangalatai Nimkar, S. Nauhal Singh Jehangirdar, Chhatrapur Shahu Maharaja, Dr. Jagdish Kadam, Mahinder Singh Padel, Govind Hambard, Pundlikrao Belkar, and others.
Around 700 devotees and guests participated in the event.
