Sanskars will create a strong and safe society Sanjeev Arora

Hoshiarpur:- A special meeting of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Hoshiarpur was held under the chairmanship of President and prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora. During this, the lack of moral values ??among children was considered a matter of serious concern for the society and was discussed in detail. On this occasion, Lion Harish Banga, former District Governor 321-D, was specially present.
Addressing the meeting, President Sanjeev Arora expressed deep concern over the increasing social evils, family breakdown and distance in relationships in the society. He said that today the society is going through such a period where the tragic incidents that are coming to light every day are forcing everyone to think. The increasing trend of pre- and post-marital crimes, family disputes, domestic violence, suicides, drug addiction and the continuous decline in moral values ??are an indication that we need to think seriously about our social and family values.
Mr. Arora said that modern education and technological development are necessary, but if they are not accompanied by moral education and good morals, then it becomes difficult to maintain balance in the society. Today, many parents try to give their children higher education, modern facilities and a better life, but they are not able to give them enough time to explain the basic morals of life, respect for elders, discipline, tolerance, restraint, compassion, service and the importance of family responsibilities.
On this occasion, Lion Harish Banga and Lion Davinder Arora, former District Governors said that Indian culture is one of the oldest and greatest cultures of the world, which has always given the message of family, humanity, love, sacrifice and service. He said that adopting modernity is not wrong, but blindly imitating foreign culture and forgetting one's roots and values ??is a matter of concern.
On this occasion, J. B. Bahl and Prof. Daljit Singh said that the new generation will have to understand that modern thinking and Indian culture can go together. They said that the first school of children is their family and parents are their first teachers. If qualities like truth, honesty, discipline, respect for others, respect for women, social responsibility and love for the nation are developed in children from childhood, then they can become ideal citizens in the future and make a significant contribution to the progress of society and the country.
He appealed to parents, teachers, religious institutions and social organizations to not limit themselves to education alone, but also make character building of children their priority. Programs related to moral education, cultural activities and social service should be organized regularly in schools, homes and society, so that the new generation can get the right direction.
On this occasion, Secretary Rajinder Moudgil thanked all the attendees and said that if we give our future generation good morals, moral values ??and a strong foundation of Indian culture today, then the future India will become an ideal nation for the world not only economically but also socially and morally. He said that the real progress of the country does not come only with tall buildings, modern technology and economic development, but with cultured, responsible and sensitive citizens.
So, let us all start this new beginning of culture from our families and contribute to the creation of a safe, strong and ideal society. On this occasion, J. B. Bahl, Prof. Daljit Singh, Shakha Bagga, Madan Lal Mahajan, Ashwini Kumar Dutta, Rajinder Moudgil, Vinod Pasan, H. K. Nakra, Ajay Chawla, Joginder Kumar, Kuldev Raj Arora, Rajinder Singh, Bharat Kumar and many other personalities were present.
