Santokhgarh/Una, August 18 (Rajveer Chopra): The auspicious festival of Sankranti was celebrated with devotion, reverence, and enthusiasm at the Shri Guru Ravidas Temple in Santokhgarh, organized by the Shri Guru Ravidas Religious Society. A large number of devotees visited the temple on this occasion to seek the blessings of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj.
During the event, Sant Baba Ravinder Das Ji Khanapur and Jaswinder Singh’s *Jatha* (musical group) presented melodious and inspiring *Kirtan*, immersing the congregation in the spirit of devotion to the Guru. The devotees enjoyed the *Kirtan* with deep concentration and bowed their heads in reverence at the Guru's feet.
Addressing the congregation, Sant Baba Ravinder Das Ji mentioned that the 650th *Prakash Utsav* (birth anniversary celebration) of Jagatguru Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj is approaching and will be celebrated with devotion and fervor across the country and abroad.
He called upon the congregation to make preparations for this historic occasion on a grand scale. He noted that various state governments are also making their own arrangements to celebrate the *Prakash Utsav*.
At the conclusion of the program, a *Bhandara* (community feast) was organized for the devotees, where a large number of people partook of the *Prasad*. The temple premises remained filled with a devotional atmosphere throughout the day.
Dignitaries present on the occasion included Temple President Kulvinder Bains, Secretary Manohar Lal Bhisi, Surjeet Singh, Senior Vice-President Kashmiri Lal Singha, Santokhgarh Municipal Council Vice-President Advocate Sandeep, Councilor Charanjit Kaur, and Councilor Ravi Kant Bassi, among others.
