Russia Ukraine working on prisoner exchange Zelensky

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine and Russia are working to resume the prisoner exchange, which would allow the return of 1,200 Ukrainian prisoners. Zelensky's statement came a day after the head of the State Security Service announced progress in the talks.
"We are confident that the process of exchanging prisoners of war will be resumed. To ensure this, a number of meetings, talks and phone conversations are currently taking place," he said on social media platform X.
Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Rustam Umarov had said that they had held talks with Turkey and the United Arab Emirates to resume the exchange of prisoners of war.
He said the two sides had agreed to restore prisoner exchange agreements to release 1,200 Ukrainians, mediated by Turkey. Russia, however, did not comment on the claim.
