RSS needs to increase activity on social media Mohan Bhagwat

Nagpur:- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said that social media is widely used by people and RSS needs to increase its "activity" on such platforms for good deeds.
At an event in Nagpur, the RSS chief said that while social media is widely used by people, it should also be used for some good deed.
He said, "Memes and reels are already in vogue. Some content is being circulated through the RSS's communication department and our Swayamsevaks are also using social media. It will be accepted. I would not call it an expectation, but we will have to increase our activity there."
He said that both bringing people together and changing society are necessary. The RSS chief said that when a committed Swayamsevak is ready, he takes up creative work, which spreads in the society and contributes to the desired change.
According to the RSS chief, "Because the expectations of the people have increased, the demand for Swayamsevaks in various fields is increasing, due to which small units have become necessary for better efficiency." He said that the growing work of the organization also requires periodic interaction with the government and administration, for which a separate coordination mechanism is being created.
He added that a "state-level" unit is being set up to handle such coordination and remove obstacles.
