Ferozepur:- Two motorcycle-borne assailants shot dead the son of a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader here on Saturday night. The victim has been identified as Naveen Arora. Naveen's father Baldev Raj Arora has been associated with the RSS for the past several years.
The incident took place when Naveen was returning home on foot from his shop located in the city's main market. As soon as he reached near Baba Noor Shah Wali Dargah, two unidentified persons opened fire on him from close range.
Naveen was taken to a private hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. As soon as the information about the case was received, senior police officers including DSP (City) Sukhwinder Singh reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
