Ambala, December 24:- Like every year, Rotary Club Ambala Industrial Area has organized a langar of warm clothes for the needy from December 16 (Vijay Diwas) outside the Faruka Khalsa School located on Bank Road in Ambala Cantt.
Club President Dr. Juginder Singh said that the in-charge of this project are IPP Dilip Mehta and himself. He said that many people donate warm clothes lying around their homes and are taking them to the needy. Dr. Juginder Singh said that so far about 200 families have taken the clothes they need and this project of theirs will continue till January 31.
Suman Jain, Dolly Chopra, Rita Thapar, Dharam Pal Gulati, Shashi Gulati, Prof. Gurdev Singh Dev, Raj Kumar Beri and other Rotarians were present on this occasion. The president said that Beri Sahib has also donated new blankets for the needy.
