Santokhgarh/Una, May 8 (Rajveer Chopra):- A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a road accident near the Khwaja Temple in Santokhgarh. According to reports, the injured individual was traveling from Tahliwal towards Santokhgarh. During the journey, he suddenly lost control of his motorcycle, causing him to fall onto the road and sustain severe injuries.
Following the incident, local residents present in the vicinity demonstrated a commendable act of humanity by immediately alerting the police administration and the 108 ambulance service. Upon receiving the information, a police team and an ambulance from the 108 Health Department arrived at the scene; after administering first aid, the injured individual was transported to the hospital.
It is reported that the injured individual is a migrant worker. Furthermore, the motorcycle bore no license plates—neither on the front nor on the rear—which is currently making it difficult to identify the vehicle.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact causes of the accident.
