New Delhi:- President Droupadi Murmu administers the oath of office to Raj Kumar Goyal. Former Law Secretary Raj Kumar Goyal took oath as Chief Information Commissioner today. He was administered the oath of office by President Droupadi Murmu.
A committee headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had last week recommended the appointment of Goyal and eight Information Commissioners. With these appointments, the strength of the Central Information Commission has been completed, with the Chief Information Commissioner and ten Information Commissioners.
