RJD pressured UPA to stop projects in Bihar PM

Saharsa- Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the RJD of putting pressure on the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre to avenge its ouster from power in the state in 2005 and stopping development projects in Bihar. Addressing a rally in North Bihar's Saharsa district, Modi claimed that now, in the current elections, the already weak Congress in Bihar has vowed to sink the RJD.
He alleged that when the RJD was ousted from power in Bihar in 2005, it was in power at the Centre. Projects like the Kosi Mahasetu were approved by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. The RJD was so upset with Nitish Kumar forming a new government in the state that it put pressure on Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi and stopped all such projects in Bihar.
In a region with a large Muslim population, Modi accused the RJD-Congress alliance of being soft on infiltrators and showing hatred towards the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the Chhath festival. He claimed that he wanted to tell our mothers and sisters who benefit from the NDA's welfare schemes to be careful of the people of Jungle Raj.
