Review Meeting of Dental Health Officers Held
Hoshiarpur: A monthly meeting of Medical Officers (Dental) was held under the guidance of Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur, Dr. Balvir Kumar, and led by District Dental Health Officer, Dr. Kapil Dogra. On this occasion, District Dental Health Officer Dr. Kapil Dogra reviewed the monthly progress reports of the medical officers present and stated that the Dental Health Program is an important program under which people of all age groups are treated. He instructed that elderly people should be given priority for check-ups.
He also said that awareness camps should be organized periodically to educate students and the general public about dental hygiene, the correct brushing technique, and dental care. People should also be encouraged to get their teeth checked every six months. He emphasized that people should be advised to get their dental check-ups and treatment done only at government hospitals or by specialist doctors and to avoid getting treatment from quack doctors.
On this occasion, Dr. Navneet Kaur, Dr. Baljit Kaur, Dr. Sanam, Dr. Lakshmi Kanta, and other dental medical officers from various blocks were present.
