Mohali, February 7:- The reunion event led by the Punjab School Education Board Retired Officers/Employees Welfare Association turned out to be memorable. In which the officers who have been together for a long time met each other and shared happiness. On this occasion, 6 senior officers were also honored with shawls and honorable mentions.
Giving information in this regard, the Association's Press Secretary Gurmeet Singh Randhawan said that the Board Chairman Dr. Amarpal Singh IAS (Retd) said that the entry of any employee in the Education Board has not been stopped. For the convenience of retired employees, a special employee has been posted at the single window who will resolve their every problem at the single window.
If any employee wants to meet any officer, then call at the single window and he will call you immediately. He also said that the gratuity and leave in cash payment of the employees and officers who are still pending have been started this month. The remaining balance of DA installments will be released along with the receipt of the remaining balance from the government. The Punjab government is being contacted at all levels in this regard.
The General Secretary of the Association, Harbans Singh Dholewal, said that the Chairman suggested that a club be formed and the office will be open every Saturday. I will also come and sit and share ideas.
The President of the Association, Ranjit Singh Mann, said that he assured the retired employees that no problem would be faced and that he or any other officer can contact them directly. He also said that the promises made by the Chairman to the Association have been implemented.
On this occasion, former Secretary of the Education Board Jagjit Singh Sidhu shared his experiences and congratulated him for the events organized by the Board regarding the 350th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Buhadar Sahib Ji. On this occasion, Chairman of the Board Dr. Amarpal Singh appealed to everyone to now give up attachment to Maya and join the fight of the Guru.
Convener of the Association Gurdeep Singh Dhillon said that on this occasion, former senior officer of the Board Prof. Jagjit Singh Sidhu, former Secretary, Madam Narinder Kaur, Director Academic Bridge Bhusan Sarma, Deputy Secretary Raunak Lal Arora, Deputy Director Manjiti Sethi and Assistant Secretary Rajnis Sarma were also honored.
Former President of the Union Harbans Bagri also expressed his views on this occasion.
