Red Cross Society imparts CPR training to students to save lives

Hoshiarpur- CPR Awareness Week was celebrated from 13th to 17th October with the directions of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society. On this occasion, Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur also organized practical workshops of CPR in various educational institutions, in which more than 1000 students were taught life-saving techniques in emergency situations.
The aim of these workshops was to educate students, staff and the general public about essential life-saving procedures like CPR. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that we all should learn this essential skill of CPR, as this small knowledge can help save someone’s life. He informed that 8 days First Aid Training Certificate Course is available from Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur at a nominal fee of just Rs. 1500.
