Hoshiarpur:- On the occasion of World Environment Day, Red Cross Hoshiarpur organized a special tree planting campaign at the Red Cross Campus to promote environmental awareness, sustainable development and collective participation. On this occasion, students of Vocational Learning Center and special children associated with WINGS Canteen participated enthusiastically and planted trees at the Red Cross Campus.
The aim of this activity was to instill a sense of responsibility towards nature among the students and to motivate the younger generation to conserve the environment and increase greenery. Mangesh Sood, Secretary, Red Cross Society Hoshiarpur, Aditya Rana, Joint Secretary; and Rajiv Bajaj, Vice Chairman, HWS Red Cross Hoshiarpur participated in this tree planting campaign and actively participated in the tree planting activity along with the students.
On this occasion, Mangesh Sood, Secretary, Red Cross Society Hoshiarpur stressed on the importance of protecting the environment, increasing greenery and adopting sustainable practices in daily life. He appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the students and said that such activities play a vital role in creating environmental awareness in the society.
