Jalandhar: The Punjab Regimental Centre is conducting an Agniveer recruitment rally under the Unit Headquarters Quota from February 16, 2026, at Dhyan Chand Stadium, Ramgarh Cantt. Candidates are required to report at Longewala Gate, Punjab Regimental Centre, Ramgarh Cantt by 04:00 AM on their respective scheduled dates.

2. Rally Schedule:
February 16, 2026. Categories - All Trial Sponsored/Outstanding Sportsmen.
2.1. Sikh candidates (excluding Mazhabi, Ramdasia, SC and ST) who meet the certification criteria.
2.2. National/International level players can be recruited from AIAC irrespective of state and category.
2.3 Sports: Athletics including Track and Field events, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Hockey, Handball, Volleyball, Wrestling and Kabaddi.
February 17, 2026. Category - All Trial Sponsored/Outstanding Sportsmen - Reserve Day.
February 18, 2026. Category - Agniveer GD (Sikhs only and players selected during trials).
2.4. Sikhs from any state/union territory of India (excluding Mazhabi, Ramdasia, SC and ST) (Only for relationship candidates of any Regiment).
2.5. Categories - Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass (Chef and Dresser) - Agniveer Tradesman (All India All Caste). Only for children of serving and ex-servicemen from any state/union territory of India who are related to the Indian Army.
2.6. Categories - Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass Musician - All India All Category (AIAC) from any state including Union Territories of India (Open Category). Interested candidates with talent in playing musical instruments.
2.7. Categories - Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass (House Keeper) - Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass (All India All Castes). Only for children of serving and ex-servicemen from any state/union territory of India who are associated with the Indian Army.
February 19, 2026. Musician Aptitude Test (to be conducted by the Inspector of IOAB Army Band).

3. The following eligibility criteria will apply:
3.1. Age Limit: The age limit for applicants will be 17 ½ years to 21 years. The first day of October (01 October) of the recruitment year (01 April - 31 March) will be considered the effective date for determining the age eligibility of the candidates.
3.2. Gender and Marital Status: As applicable for the respective categories/trades for recruitment in the Indian Army.
3.3. Medical Standards: A candidate must meet the prescribed medical eligibility conditions as per the respective categories/trades for recruitment in the Indian Army.
