Rayat Bahra University hosts AlumniParent Conference2026
Chandigarh June, 08:- Rayat Bahra University organized the Alumni-Parent Conference 2026 under its School of Life Sciences and Sciences, bringing together alumni, parents, graduate students and faculty members on a common platform with the aim of strengthening institutional ties, promoting academic excellence and fostering meaningful dialogue.
The program began with a warm welcome by the special guests, followed by the lighting of the traditional lamp, considered a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment, by parents and alumni. Dean Professor Dr. Simarjit Kaur highlighted the importance of alumni and parents’ involvement in shaping the academic ecosystem and reiterated that institutional success is reflected through the achievements of its graduates.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra reiterated the vision of the university to produce globally competent professionals equipped with knowledge, ethical values and leadership qualities. He praised the alumni and termed them as the brand ambassadors of the university across the world. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar said that the university is committed to academic innovation, research excellence and providing education as per the needs of the industry.
He stressed on the importance of preparing students to face the evolving global challenges through quality education and experiential learning. Speaking on the occasion, Dean Alumni Relations Dr. Prince Vohra stressed on the importance of continuous alumni engagement in promoting mentoring, professional networking and career development opportunities for students.
One of the main attractions of the conference was the success story sharing session, during which alumni and graduate students shared their academic journeys, professional achievements and personal experiences, inspiring the audience with their stories of dedication and success.
The event also featured an interactive interaction between the Chancellor and the parents, which provided an opportunity to discuss the academic standards of the university, student welfare initiatives, career prospects and future development plans. Cultural performances by the students made the occasion even more exciting.
