Ram Naumi festival celebrated across the country

Kharar: Ram Naumi is a major festival of Hindu Dharam, which is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Vishnu’s 7th avatar, Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Chander Ji. It is believed that on the ninth day (Naumi) of the Shukal Paksh of the month of Chet, he was born in Ayuddhia to Raja Dashrath and Maharani Kaushalya. This day symbolizes the victory of good over evil (Ram’s victory over Ravan).
Ram Naumi festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country today. Similarly, at Sunny Enclave, Kharar, at Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Raj Ram Naumi festival was celebrated with great fervor. Since early morning, long queues of people were seen at temples to pay obeisance. In homes, the Kannya festival is being celebrated, and Kanjak Poojan is being performed.
In Ayuddhia, the joy of this day seems impossible to describe in words. In every street, locality, and square, praises of Bhagwan Shri Ram are being sung. In such an atmosphere, people are doing everything possible to seek the blessings of Ram Lalla. Some are engaged in worship, while others are busy preparing tilak for Ram Lalla. Chanting of Ram Naam is being carried out.
