The place where the singer was cremated is the same place adjacent to the school where he sang for the first time on the stage built. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann visited the house of famous Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda and expressed his grief over the tragic and untimely death of the young singer. Rajveer Jawanda, who was the victim of an accident a few days ago, passed away yesterday in a private hospital in Mohali. The Chief Minister, who reached the late singer's residence in the morning, expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members.
He said that the demise of the young singer has caused a great loss to the contemporary literature, culture and art sector of the state. An emotional Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Jawanda Bhar said goodbye to this mortal world at a young age. He said that the void created by the demise of Rajveer Jawanda will not be easy to fill in the near future.
Singers Satinder Sartaj, Babbu Maan, Ammy Virk, Mohammad Sadiq, Karamjit Anmol, Sardar Sohi, Kanwar Grewal, Mankirat Aulakh, Ranjit Bawa, Jass Bajwa, singer Gurlez Akhtar, Kulwinder Billa, Ravinder Grewal, Sukhwinder Sukhi, Himmat Sandhu, late Deep Sidhu's brother Advocate Mandeep Sidhu, Resham Anmol, besides former MP Amrik Singh Aliwal, senior Congress leader Major Singh Bhaini, MLA Sarvjit Kaur Manuke, AXI Gurpreet Mahinder Sidhu, Advocate Sandeep Goyal, Harmeet Sangha, former Sarpanch Gurvinder Singh Pona, Sarpanch Harpreet Singh Raju, former Chairman Chand Singh Dalla, Swaran Singh Tihara, Didar Singh Malak, Nirbhai Singh Sidhu etc. were also present in the last journey.

He said that with the death of Rajveer, an era of Punjabi singing came to an end. He said that Rajveer will always remain in the memories of his fans. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Rajveer made a significant contribution to the progress of Punjabi art and culture.
