Rajasthan 8 killed 24 injured in bustruck collision
Jaipur:- Seven people were killed and over 15 injured when a passenger bus collided with a truck on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan's Dausa district early on Wednesday. The accident took place near Dhanwada under Kolwa police station area, where Dausa Superintendent of Police Piyush Dixit said that five victims died of burns in the fire, while two others died of serious head injuries. He said that the bus was going from Rishikesh in Uttarakhand to Indore in Madhya Pradesh and collided with a truck moving ahead on the expressway, which belonged to Hans Travels of Indore. After the collision, a huge fire broke out in both the vehicles, which spread panic among the passengers. The injured have been rescued and sent to Dausa District Hospital for treatment, and teams of police, fire brigade personnel and local administration reached the spot and carried out rescue operations, after which the fire was brought under control.
