Raipur Sangat contributes to SGPC Flood Relief Fund

Sri Amritsar, November 22: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) is carrying out major relief efforts through the Flood Relief Fund for rehabilitation and essential assistance to flood-affected families. Contributing to this fund, the Sangat of Raipur has donated ?5 lakh.
Today, at the SGPC headquarters, S. Charanjit Singh, President of Gurdwara Singh Sabha Tati Bandh, Raipur (Chhattisgarh), handed over the amount to SGPC Chief Secretary S. Kulwant Singh Mannan. He stated that inspired by S. Harpinder Singh, Incharge, Sikh Missionary Jammu & Kashmir, the Raipur Sangat collectively participated in this humanitarian service.
Contributors included S. Dalbir Singh, S. Nishan Singh, S. Ajit Singh, S. Jaswinder Singh, S. Mahinder Singh, S. Ranjit Singh, S. Prabhjeet Singh, and the entire congregation of Gurdwara Heerapur.
On this occasion, S. Mannan said that SGPC is the supreme representative institution of the Sikh community, and the Sangat always supports its service initiatives wholeheartedly. He appreciated the Raipur Sangat for their significant contribution to the Flood Relief Fund and thanked the entire community.
S. Charanjit Singh and other members were honored by SGPC for their contribution.
