Queues for fertilizer lathicharges

Karnal, October 26: Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the BJP government in Haryana is failing to meet public expectations in any area. Today, farmers are yearning for fair prices for their crops, and the general public is yearning for security. Hooda was in Karnal to attend various social events.
Speaking to reporters, he said that the BJP government, which claimed to provide MSP for 24 crops, is now hiding its face because in Haryana, Kharif crops, including paddy, millet, cotton, and green gram, are being sold at prices ranging from 300 to 1,200 rupees below the MSP.
Hooda questioned, "We are repeatedly asking the government which 24 crops are being paid MSP in Haryana? The crops that are reaching the markets from the fields are not receiving MSP. Anyone can see the truth by going to the markets."
He further stated that this government has made the processes from selling crops to receiving compensation so complicated that farmers are left entangled in them. They neither receive fair prices nor compensation. Currently, as in previous years, there is a scramble for fertilizer for sowing the Rabi crop. Reports of lathicharges on farmers and women are also emerging from several locations.
Commenting on law and order, Hooda said that Haryana has become the most unsafe state in the country. Central government reports and statistics confirm this. Organized crime is rampant in Haryana, with more than 80 criminal gangs active, committing crimes such as murder, robbery, dacoity, and extortion. The situation is so dire that even police officers protecting the law are losing their lives. The deaths of IPS officers Puran Kumar and Sandeep Lathar should be investigated impartially by the CBI under the supervision of a sitting High Court judge.
Reacting to the controversial remarks made by the BJP's Union Energy Minister on Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Hooda said that no one should There should be no doubt that the Constitution of India was drafted by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. I am proud that my father, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh Hooda, was a member of the Constituent Assembly, chaired by Dr. Ambedkar. No one should make derogatory comments about Dr. Ambedkar.
