QR Code Launched for Khedan Vatan Punjab Diyan2026

Sangrur, August 28: As part of the preparations for ‘Khedan Vatan Punjab Diyan-2026’, being organized by the Punjab Government with the objective of further strengthening the sports culture in the state and connecting youth with sports, the official QR Code was launched today in District Sangrur by Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Ankur Mahindroo, PCS, and Assistant Commissioner (G) Rajveer Singh Bhangu.
On the occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that ‘Khedan Vatan Punjab Diyan’ is an important initiative of the Punjab Government aimed at connecting children, youth and sports enthusiasts of the state with sports, while also providing them with a good platform to showcase their sporting talent. He said that the district administration is making all necessary arrangements for successfully organizing the games this year as well.
He said that through the QR Code facility, players will be able to easily access the required information related to the games, while the registration and verification process can also be made more streamlined. This will further encourage the use of digital technology in the management of the games.
Assistant Commissioner (G) Rajveer Singh Bhangu said that the district administration is making every possible effort to ensure maximum participation of players in ‘Khedan Vatan Punjab Diyan-2026’. He said that the QR Code will make it easier for players to obtain information related to the games and will make the overall process more transparent and convenient.
He appealed to the youth to participate in ‘Khedan Vatan Punjab Diyan-2026’ in maximum numbers and showcase their sporting talent. He said that sports not only help young people remain physically fit but also play an important role in developing discipline, self-confidence, team spirit and a competitive spirit among them.
District Sports Officer Navdeep Singh was also present on the occasion.
