Hisar: The Purvanchal Jan Kalyan Sangathan Samiti has welcomed the appointment of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravi Saini as the Chairman of the Haryana Forest Department. Led by President Vinod Sahni, a delegation of the committee visited the newly appointed Chairman's residence in Saini Mohalla to felicitate him by presenting a shawl inscribed with 'Ram Naam' and offering sweets. Chairman Ravi Saini expressed his gratitude to the committee members. 
The delegation included the committee’s treasurer Acharya Shivpujan Mishra, Dinesh Pandey, Jaswant, and others. While wishing him well for his new role, Acharya Shivpujan Mishra requested him to discuss with railway officials and senior party leaders the extension of the Purushottam Express train up to Hisar or Bhiwani. He stated that if this happens, it would benefit thousands of passengers in Haryana.
Chairman Ravi Saini said that, based on his long political and social experience, he would give a new impetus to works related to environmental protection, tree plantation, and green development as the Chairman of the Forest Department, with the cooperation of all. Ravi Saini assured the delegation that he would make strong efforts to get the Purushottam Express extended by talking to the party's top leadership and high-ranking railway officials.
