Punjabis Lekhak Sabha Chandigarh to organise Sahit Mela on 9th November

Chandigarh- Punjabi Lekhak Sabha Chandigarh is going to organise a mela in the memory of its founder Tera Singh Chann at Punjab Kala Bhawan Chandigarh on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 10.00 am.  
Providing detailed information about the event, Deepak Sharma Chanarthal, President and Bhupinder Singh Malik, General Secretary of the sabha said that noted Punjab thinker and film actor Gurpreet Ghuggi will be the chief guest at the event. Famous scholar Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sirsa will be the main speaker.  
Special Guest Surjit Singh Dheer, Kendri Punjabi Lekhak Sabha President Darshan Buttar, Punjab Art Council Chairman Swaranjit Savi and Punjabi Sahit Academy Ludhiana President, Dr Sarabjit Singh will be in the presidium addressing on the literary and organisational contribution of late Tera Singh Chann.  On this occasion one Tera Singh Chann memorial literary award will be given and two awards are being presented to the audience.
Noted Punjabi folk singer Dolly Singh will enthrall the audience. Punjabi literature, art and culture exhibitions will be the centre of attention in the mela. General Secretary Bhupinder Singh Malik has invited all the literature lovers to grace the occasion.
