Punjabi singer Inder Kaur murdered body recovered from Nilo canal
Ludhiana:- The body of Punjabi singer Inder Kaur alias Yash Inder, who was kidnapped yesterday, has been recovered after being thrown into the Nilo canal. Six days ago, Inder Kaur's family had filed a complaint with the Jamalpur police station that she was kidnapped at gunpoint. In the said case, the police had registered a case against the accused, who lives in Moga, and some of his associates and were continuously searching for the kidnapped Punjabi singer. Inder Kaur's body was recovered from the Nilo canal on Tuesday morning.
It is worth mentioning that Inder Kaur's brother Jyot Inder Singh, while filing a complaint with the Jamalpur police, had alleged that his sister was kidnapped by Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha, a resident of Moga, on May 13 when his sister had gone to the market to buy goods in her Ford car. Jot Inder Singh had alleged that his sister had befriended Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha, a resident of Moga, who was constantly pressurizing her to get married. When his sister came to know that Sukha was already married and had a child, she refused to get married. Out of enmity, Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha, who was living in Canada, kidnapped Inder Kaur under a well-planned conspiracy, murdered her and threw her body into a canal. According to family sources, Inder Kaur had befriended Sukha through social media and the two were in touch with each other for some time. The recovered body has been sent for postmortem by the police and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused in this case on the basis of the family's statements.
