Punjabi actor Rabbi Kandola joins Akali Dal Warriors of Punjab
Chandigarh:- Punjabi film actor Rabbi Kandola joined the Akali Dal (Warriors of Punjab) along with his supporters on Thursday. At a function held at the Chandigarh Press Club in Sector 27, senior party leaders welcomed him with a turban and siropa (syrup). On this occasion, Rabbi Kandola said that he has joined it inspired by the ideology of the party, which advocates preservation of Punjabi mother tongue, protection of rights of Punjabis, education of youth, strict action in cases like paper leaks and implementation of transparent employment laws.
He said that today there is a need to raise a strong voice on issues related to the future of Punjab and the youth. He joined the party for this purpose.
Several senior party leaders including MP Sarabjit Singh Khalsa, MP Amritpal Singh's father Tarsem Singh and MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali were present at the function. Welcoming Rabbi Kandola and his supporters, the party leaders expressed confidence that with his joining, the party will be strengthened at the social and grassroots level.
The party leaders expressed confidence that with the arrival of Rabbi Kandola, issues related to the youth and Punjab will be raised more effectively and the organization’s public relations campaign will be strengthened. Rabbi Kandola said that he has joined the party with the aim of serving Punjab, Punjabis and Panthic ideology.
He assured that he will work with full dedication to convey the party’s policies and ideology to the masses and strengthen the organization. A large number of party workers and supporters of Rabbi Kandola were also present at the event.
