Chandigarh:- The budget session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha has been approved in a meeting of the Cabinet headed by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The state government will start the budget session for the financial years 2026 and 2027 from March 6 and continue till March 16.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the Punjab government will not impose any new taxes in the budget this time and this budget will be pro-people.
This time the Punjab government will present the budget on March 8, Sunday. It is worth mentioning that this time the state government will decide to give one thousand rupees to women in the budget. Therefore, the state government will present the budget on March 8 on the occasion of International Women's Day.
