Punjab Sahitya Sabha Reg Nawanshahr celebrated Womens Day
Nawanshahr:- Local Punjab Sahitya Sabha Registered Nawanshahr celebrated Women's Day at its office Railway Road Nawanshahr. The chief guest of which was District Child Protection Officer Mrs. Kanchan Arora. Speaking on the occasion, she said that in today's time, we all need to change our perspective towards women. She emphasized that we should first give respect, love and affection to the women of our family in the social fabric so that whatever we do in the society, we should start from our own home first.
Sabha General Secretary Des Raj Bali, speaking, said that a woman's Women's Day is every day. Because every day a woman works hard and takes care of her family. And she takes care of everyone from the youngest to the eldest. Whether it is the education of children, whether it is food, or the need to maintain the house, or to serve the guests, everything falls on the woman's shoulders.
The President of the Sabha, Darshan Dardi, welcomed the chief guests and on this occasion, women were honored with special honors. Bibi Sarabjit Kaur Nawanshahr was honored with a sewing machine and the rest of the women were honored with a badge of honor. The Presidium honored Mrs. Kanchan Arora with a memento.
