Jalandhar, December 10:- After the return and scrutiny of the nomination papers of the candidates for contesting the club elections by the election officers of Punjab Press Club Jalandhar, Rajesh Thapa for Senior Vice President, Tejinder Kaur Thind for Vice President (Women) and Shiv Sharma for the post of Treasurer have been declared winners uncontested.
The remaining six posts will be elected for President, General Secretary, two Vice Presidents, Secretary and Joint Secretary.
Giving this information, the club's election officers Dr. Kamlesh Singh Duggal, Dr. Lakhwinder Singh Johal and Kuldeep Singh Bedi said that voting for the contesting candidates will be held on December 15 at Punjab Press Club from 9 am to 3 pm. The result of which will be announced in the evening of the same day. There are 12 candidates left in the fray for six posts, whose names are as follows:-
