Chandigarh:- The Punjab government has decided to increase the price of sugarcane to Rs 416 per quintal, which is Rs 15 more than last year. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann can formally announce it any time today.
The Haryana government has announced the price of sugarcane at Rs 415 per quintal this year, but the Punjab government has decided to give a higher price than Haryana. Last year, the price of sugarcane in Punjab was Rs 401 per quintal.
