Chandigarh, November 13 - Haryana's Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that the Public Works Department will now constitute a Vigilance Cell. This cell will look after the investigation of complaints received regarding the quality of roads, building construction and works related to the department, etc., in case of irregularities, legal and departmental action will also be taken against the concerned. Not only this, he has also directed the SE and XEN of the department to conduct quality inspection of 18 roads every month and send a report to him.
Cabinet Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa held a review meeting of the Public Works Department at the Secretariat on Wednesday, in which Additional Secretary of the Department Mr. Hitesh Kumar Meena, EIC Mr. Rajiv Yadav, HSRDC MD Mr. VS Malik, SEs of various areas of the department, XENs and other officials were present, while the FDOs were connected online. The meeting discussed the district progress report and the status of road construction works in detail.
Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa gave clear instructions to the officials in the meeting that the construction work of the building which has been completed should be immediately handed over to the concerned department.
He said that the tenders for road, building and other works related to the department which have been filled in the mines should be inspected in a mandatory manner so that there is no scope for quality assurance at any level. Even now, when the road construction work is going on, the SDO and JE should also be in the field and inspect from time to time.
If negligence is seen in the work or public complaints are received, then take immediate action and send a report. Mr. Gangwa said that it is the responsibility of every officer to live up to the expectations of the public. Now the era when work was postponed by suppressing files is over. The public wants an account of every work and we will have to answer. He said that he himself will also monitor it.

**Status of the Mari Sadak App
The meeting also discussed the status of the Mari Sadak App. The officers said that so far 6523 complaints have been received, out of which 2611 complaints have been resolved. The Minister said that this app is a direct bridge between the public and the department. The pending complaints should be resolved on priority.

**Special instructions regarding fog
Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that the coming time will be of fog, in such a situation, special attention should be paid to road safety. He directed the officials to immediately install white stripes, reflector paintings, and warning signboards on the roads. Mr. Gangwa said that visibility decreases in winter, and this is the time when most accidents occur.
Small improvements can save many lives. Roads are not only a means of movement, but also a promise of safety. He has instructed the officials of the entire state to make all arrangements before the fog season in all the districts.

**Five seats have come, yet they talk about vote theft, in fact the public taught them a lesson
After the meeting, while interacting with the media in his office at the Secretariat, Cabinet Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa took a jibe at the Congress while answering a question. He said that the Congress is still chanting the slogan of vote theft. If votes were stolen, then how did they get five seats. There is no option left but to mislead their people.
They should understand that in reality the public has responded to their actions. Mr. Gangwa said that the Congress has been continuously misleading the people. During the Lok Sabha elections, they had said that if the BJP government is formed for the third time, they will change the Constitution. The politics of scaring the people by spreading such rumors will not work anymore.
On a question related to the memo submitted by the Congress to the Governor regarding Haryana, Mr. Gangwa said that the Congress's hand with the poor is only for show. When the BPL card was made, they said where did so many poor people come from, now when some names have been cut when the income has increased, we have an objection.
Farmers are now remembering what they were doing when the lands of farmers were being looted under their rule. Jobs were sold, then their eyes were closed. He said that the BJP government has worked on the strength of transparency, accountability and public trust.
