Public scared due to robbery incidents Soni

Garhshankar:- Due to day by day increasing incidents of robbery, an atmosphere of fear has been created among the general public and police administration is sitting as a mute spectator. These views were expressed by Satish Kumar Soni, Founder President of Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab during a press conference.
He said that day by day robbers are snatching purses and mobile phones from passersby in broad daylight, but due to slack performance of police administration, the morale of robbers who commit robberies is high. The main reason for this is that due to shortage of employees in police stations, police action is negligible and the safety of general public is put on the backburner.
Despite promises and claims being made by the state government, neither the strength of employees is being completed in the police stations of the state, nor has the drug menace been checked. Youth who do drugs are the ones who are committing these robbery incidents.
He said, "Through the press medium, we request the state government to fill the shortage of employees in police stations and increase patrolling of police employees at public places of Garhshankar city, so that robbers committing robberies and drug smugglers can be caught and safety of general public can be ensured."
