Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal Donates Books to Akal Academy Dhariwal Bet Library

Chandigarh, December 18, 2025: Making a significant contribution to the promotion and spread of the Punjabi language, Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal donated his books to the library of Akal Academy Dhariwal Bet.
During his visit to the academy, Principal Gosal handed over religious and children's books to the Academy's Principal, Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur. The donated books included works such as “Aao, Chaliye Darshan Nu”, “Wah! Dharti Anandpuri Di”, “Mera Adhyapan Sansar”, “Tange Di Safari”, “Giddar Di Chandigarh Pheri”, “Chuhiyan Di Baraat”, and “Kalyan Pari”.
Also present on the occasion were Dr. Jagdeep Singh, Teacher Harpreet Kaur, Mrs. Sahajpreet Kaur, Librarian Balvir Kaur, and students of the Academy.
Principal Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur congratulated Principal Gosal for writing 115 books and thanked him for the donation. She said that these books would prove very useful for the teachers and children and would enhance the library's collection.
Principal Gosal encouraged the students to read as many books as possible in their mother tongue, Punjabi. He also appealed to the teachers to encourage children to write children's stories, poems, and short stories in Punjabi. The teachers and Principal of the Academy assured him that they would make the best use of these books.
