Nawanshahr- The preparations for the district-level three-day Mahan Kirtan Darbar dedicated to the 556th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the 350th centenary anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji have almost been completed and by the grace of Akal Purakh, all the members are engaged in service day and night for the success of these works.
In this regard, an important meeting of the members of the society was held at the Rotary Bhawan. Giving this information, the chief servant of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society, Surjit Singh, said that a huge pandal is being decorated in the grounds of JSFH Khalsa School Nawanshahr for the functions, in which light and sound system have been well arranged.
It is worth mentioning that the society is organizing a three-day grand kirtan darbar dedicated to the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji from October 25, in which the first day will be inaugurated by Bhai Sukhvir Singh Hazuri Raagi Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Nawanshahr.
From 07:00 to 08:00 in the evening, the jatha of Bhai Simarpreet Singh Ji, Hazuri Raagi of Sri Darbar Sahib, will delight the sangat through Gurbani Kirtan. After that, Singh Sahib Giani Raghvir Singh Ji, Head Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib Society, will release the souvenir and annual calendar prepared by the activities and with his kar kamalas. He will also address the sangat.
From 8:15 to 09:15 at night, the famous kirtan jatha Miri Piri International Jagadhari women will share Gurbani Kirtan in front of the sangat. From 09:15 to 10:00, the great scholar of the Sikh community, Giani Sahib from Canada, will connect the congregation with Gurmat thoughts and Gur history.
He appealed to the congregation from across the region to participate in this event by gathering in large numbers.
